Dearest Fiona – A Poem for my Granddaughter – Poem 8/24 (Obviously, the Pantoum is not something I feel up to right now… day has been a bit tiring so far… so I’m doing a poem to my granddaughter Fiona)

F is for frills on your little girl dress

And for fractions of love by which we have been blessed

I is for inklings of love and God’s Grace

That’s been splashed all across your little princess face

O is for orbits of laughter and fun

That you create all around us with your smile when you run

N is for never do we ever want to be

Without you, or the happiness you spread so pure and free

A is for the Angel bestowed from above

By God’s Grace and His Mercy and His great Love
