Hour 14: Sonnet

I’ve created a picture, much too vivid,

Clear as day, there you stood,

Ready for a commitment,

To give all you could,

The picture lasted to long, it became a cinema,

It never flourished in into much,

Became a slight dilemma,

I could only see, never got close enough to touch,

It started to reoccur, I began to know the ending,

In search of the real thing,

God knows I’m tired of pretending,

I’m a queen, it’s only right I have a king,

Ruling side by side like a leg and a thing,

With a prince and princess like a biscuit on the side.

Hour 13 Limerick

Can you tie my shoes,

I make a bow, a 1 a 2,

Right is tied to the left, left is tied to the right,

Is that too tight?

Is this what you are supposed to do?

Hour 12 Tanka

They are listening,

They are watching what you do,

Oh, little sponges,

Taking in information,

That is not appropriate.

Hour 11

The say teachers like me the best,

But they use me less,

I just become a symbol of their profession,

Placed on a variety of materials,

I assume it isn’t their intention,

Kids like in slices,

Dipped in caramel,

My juices squeeze out creating a beverage,

Used as a leverage to keep doctors away,

Comes in many varieties,

Floral to crunchy to sweet,

A nice quick treat,

Here Ms. Applebottom,

An apple for the teach.

Hour 9

After attempting and accepting,

Barely balancing between battling blissful,

Calamity creeps, casually comparing,

creatures categorized, concepts conceptualized,

Darling daughter, disown drama,

Emotions Evolve, encompassing environmental encounters,

Fabulous familiar friends faithfully family,

Gratefully gathering, generous gestures,

Happily home helping,

Important images increase infinite imagination,

Jets jerk Jezebels jaws,

Kangaroos kiss koalas kneeling,

Leaving legacies, little lasting litigations,

Many manages multiple marathons making memories,

Naturally negating negative, notifications,

Opting onward onto optimism

Quietly questioning quality,

Refusing ridicule, refusing representatives refusing reprimand,

Surprising successful seeing scary scenarios,

Thoroughly trying through tarnished tears,

Visions verified vainly,

Without weeping when wondering with

Xylophones,

You yell, Yapping youth, yippie!

Zebras!

Hour 8 Haiku

Fahrenheit lowers,

hoodies, gray sweatpants, sneakers,

Clear dark, starry nights,

Warm, smoky fires,

cuddled up, swatting nighttime bugs,

Sounds of nighttime bugs,

Smores by the fire,

Joyous times filled with laughter,

Fall – ing to Autumn.

Hour 7: Viator

I wish you knew how much I cared

It used to be so easy

You would never have to question

Now I wonder if you still love me,

I can’t peer through the thoughts in your head

I wish you knew how much I cared

But you created made up scenarios in your head

And misconstrued the things I have said,

Settled away from your touch

Piercing words that sting with vengeance

I wish you know how much I cared

I wonder, can we,

Come together

Amend the broken-hearted,

Ponder on the fact that

I wish you knew how much I cared.

Hour 6 Sonnet

My love, where are you?

Where do you lay your sleeping eyes,

How do I find the likes of one so true,

Why must I wait all this time,

My love, are you prepping yourself to be ready for me,

Can I at least have a sign you are near,

Will you go into this wholeheartedly,

I heard a whispering voice, is that yours I hear,

My love are you there,

Reveal yourself, don’t shay away from what could be a good thing,

Your previous or your current laid the foundations for you to be prepared,

I am here, look what new moments bring,

My love, hold on to your faith,

That we may find each other some day.

Hour 5

Honesty

Authentic, forthright,

Trusting, believing, confiding,

Even a little white lie causes damage,

Mendacious
