hour 14 prompt 14 Food

I ordered Chinese  food tonight, we gobbled up chicken balls, rice, ribs and chow mein

Stuffed to the gills oh just one more bite, I’m going to explode another egg roll? Hmm I think I just might

I can’t eat no more let’s put it away, this part I hate because I will pick eating more till in the fridge it is stored till another day

This Chinese  food  as great as it is, will never be complete without reading ur fortune

My stomach  is sore I’ve indulged  way too much, this food is my weakness I’m so bloated and tummy sore to the touch

hour 13 Don’t do this

Don’t do this and don’t don’t do that, you can play outside but don’t swing that bat

You can ride you bike but not too fast, you can have 5 dollars but make it last

Stay off the fence it’s just not safe,  so for an hour in a half y swing frome the gate

Don’t speak to loud don’t make a fuss, I will wash out you mouth if I hear you cuss

Don’t bite your nails, don’t cross those lines don’t eat those grapes up on the vines

So don’t do this and don’t do that, it’s now time for bed so hang up that hat

hour 12 prompt 12 Moving

Inside seems so bare, so uninviting, with all the bare walls and furniture  out.

I’m doing my last walk through my final farewell I found the the marks on the door jam where dad would mark our growth

I am saddened by the memories  I now leave behind like the family dinners the holidays and the friends from the neighborhood

Well its moving day and Im taking one last stroll through the yard

I’m going to miss this place but with every move is a new beginning and new memories and new marks on the walls that I will make to mark my kids growth

I have bigger family dinners and holiday gatherings

It’s now time to move all box’s are packed into the trucks to the new house we go, I can’t wait to get settled

hour 11 My big furry friend prompt 11

I throw the ball and u fetch it for me.

I call your name and you run back so quickly for all to see

You run around in circles chasing your tail for hours

Then you give up and look at me begging for treats, that bone he chews in no time he devours

As powerful you are you’re a gentile teddy bear always at my side

My big furry friend all cuddled up your so sweet tomorrow I’ll take with me for the ride

hour 10

In your eyes I gaze to see your soul

My heart is racing I must keep control

I see through the watery haze that covers them like a morning dew as the fog gently lifts

So deep in your eyes I see our future a love story so passionate so rewarding so much better than monetary  gifts

In your eyes there is a home you have built with plenty of rooms

One of which is ours  my pillow beside yours and a vase full of fresh blooms

I see you gazing at me with that georgous smile aimed at me it simply makes me grin

In your eyes I see the passion, the love I can’t resist I must lean in

Im in heaven your kiss tells no lies and all this came  from that cute little look in your eyes

(hour 9)

At the door step of death I stand there and wait.

My breath it escapes me I’m dying  I know now my end fait.

My heart beat is fading fast my and my pulse is nearly  extinct.

Now my eyes are dimming as these symptoms are all linked.

As I gasp my last breath everything’s shutting down.

My last thought is I’m glad I passed here in my old home town.

(hour 8)

The cute way the light shines off the side of your face, it grips me like pliers and draws me in.

From head to toe your beauty is unsurpassed, how lucky am I to have the fortune to have you as part of my life.

Your hair as it flows like a river straight down in a over the rocks which led me to your shoulder, attached to those beautiful soft pale skin arms, right down to those cotton soft hands.

I look but i want so desperately to touch, your nape of your neck wrap my arms around you sculpted frame and as I think that I notice the lovely way you cross your legs in that skirt

Your flawless exterior has captured my eye  but your passionate ways have captured my heart, the total package standing as one with me so rare to find, and I’m not sorry guys because she is all mine

(7th hour) This man on the corner

This man stands there looking alone, lost and clearly in fear.

His eyes hazed over I say hello no response I guess he cant hear.

I ask if he needs help and nothing comes out when all at once he calls me Gloria now I know he needs his bed

This man on the corner is not deaf he needs help, he has alzheimers I must find his home he needs his meds.

This man on the corner can be you or me, memories lost like the blank stare in his eyes.

He must be so scared, lost and alone, my dad too has this disease someday’s he just sits there and cries.

This man on the corner is now in good hands he wears a bracelet with a nursing home address.

Now I’ve returned him he’s home at last his wife Gloria says thank you as his hand she does  her best to caress

(hour 6) The birds sing

The sun is rising bringing in the bright  light, the birds they start chirping a song so uplifting.

On the branches of the trees they sit and they chirp, through the windows the songs flow I want them to keep singing

As the sun is up high the rays hit my face

The birds keep singing songs I keep in that special place

(hour 5) Society

Society is there a problem with it?

When bullying is such a no in school that when a kid tries to walk away but gets put in a a situation to defend themselves they get punished and not the original one doing the bullying ya there’s a problem.

As wars are waged over religious beliefs over resources rather than unite and share the riches to help each other.

The shame we should feel destroying the blood, sweat, and tears, that went into cultivating the land our forefathers worked by hand in hopes of providing food for generations to come, but yet we take till there’s nothing left then rip it to shreds dividing the land. Building our fortresses because we know that there is still some hard worked land out there, still untouched, still providing us substance.

Is there something wrong with society? You ask, when factories and employers pick up and move to save a buck, keeping profits up rather giving back to the communities that helped it strive. When the unemployment rate is skyrocketing and sources of work are diminished there’s a problem.

When they say a child is learning disabled but put that child in a class with 30 kids, because its all about a budget and not about helping that child, when the staff and resources are there and available.

There is a problem when we see each other as separate races rather than as one race. When the colour of your shirt gets you shot in a neighbourhoods as if to say i tell you what to wear.

There is so much wrong today in society and it will not change until we see each other as one. Until we stop fighting for over greed, when we see that people keep us moving forward and not whats in our pockets maybe then a change can start. Till then i say society is the problem.
