“Puddles”

“Puddles”

A little bit of rain could never stop us.

Ready or not, here we come!

Grabbing knee-high socks and rain boots as we run outside.

Jumping and splashing,

In any puddle we could find.

Don’t ever lose the child inside.

  1. This poem brings a smile to my face. I have read so many books about children playing in puddles. It sounds like some thing I would have loved to do had I not grown up during a drought. Lucky children. Thank you for the poem. I was able to splash along.

    1. I kid you not, it’s exactly what I did earlier that day. We’re never too old to splash in puddles. ❤️ Thank you for such a lovely compliment.
