Zanze: Born a Twin

Born a twin, I was born sharing
And supporting him by caring;
To carry out his basic need
To laugh, to bathe, to dress, to feed.

Born a twin, I was born
Second place, from that morn.
Needs always to be met;
This for me, my path set.

Born a twin I
Only get by;
If left alone
I hold no throne

Born a
Hot, spring-time day
I have had love sparing;
Born a twin, I was born sharing.

    1. Thank you, this particular poem became quite real and summarised a long and unusual relationship with my brother.

      I struggled to choose a picture for this one. I rarely share pictures of people in my posts, though I thought about a picture of my brother and I in the end the bright colours of the mushrooms and their surroundings caught out my sleep addled brain.
