black and blue

bloody nose

busted lip

 

broken arm

concussion

two less teeth

 

that’s the price

she had paid

to be free

  1. A tough price to pay for freedom but worth it. I like that you have the type of poem you wrote with the definition. I was going to do that but decided not to. Maybe next year.
