Very welcome!
I do what I can; issues like these are so vital to talk about – especially so directly from a survivor’s point of view 💝🕯I hope you’re well and wish the best!

Thank you, all.
My heart is happy, knowing that I’ve done this well with conveying such sensitive, heavy and important things. It’s a boost, when I don’t feel like “enough”. Much appreciated. -

Beautiful! This was wonderful to read as with everything concerning COVID, it is nice to be reminded of not only the wildfires that affected Australia but also its regrowth and rebirth (as you refer to it in your poem. There was so much great imagery in the poem…reference and allusion. I loved the line comparing the fires to Hellfire. I loved the hope…Reborn once again out of ashes…beautiful imagery!

I watch the firefly zoom along the treeline;
And become inspired,
To drop my mask.Change happens fast –
And I welcome it;May it nourish me,
Like the milk in a bottle,
of a babe’s New Beginning. -

This is not in “The Bop” style, as the Official Prompt suggests; but it does discuss many current world problems. So, I hope this may suffice. {Potential Trigger Warning!!}

What a beautiful piece! Even though it’s not in the bob poetic form, it does capture so much and highlights a lot of the important issues our society faces on a regular basis.

This is such a wonderful poem… one I want to read again and again. Well done ^^

I think this poem hits all the issues we deal with right now as a society. Too much hate, not enough love and understanding. Great job, your words paint a very accurate picture.

“Because ONE person, / Noticed the most, / And, / finally listened to me.” Beautiful writing.
Thank you 🙂
Thank you for this powerful piece (and for the trigger warnings and list of supports at the end) and for your open, honest words! Powerful line: ‘And I learn all the ways,
That I cannot be myself.’ It is so important that we all have one person in our lives who ‘sees us’, ‘hears us’, and honors us. Thank you again!
Very welcome!
