This poem tells such a distinct story. I loved the line- βthe woods had kept it for meβ alluding to the earlier action, sentiment and moments in time. Well written!

Great poem! I think we all have learned how much we value aloneness during this time or miss the togetherness. This poem solidified your solo absoluteness! Great job my friend.

Loved the light easy flow of this poem. Favorite lines-
“Creating is travel on easels”. Stirs something in me that I can’t articulate but eventually I will. May keep this line as a prompt. Good job! -

Enjoyed reading this and yes know the difference between what we dream of and what we can afford. However, being crafty helps A LOT! Hope the reality will be as beautiful as the dream.

Jessica,
I enjoyed the openness of this poem. You bared your soul while creating imagery which is what I love in a well-written poem. Great job and keep writing my friend! -

Thanks Britton. I have been trying not to write politically motivated poetry but sometimes it has been “too much” and so I do have a few pieces. I still choose to write about love. Thanks for reading! Peace my friend.
