Hi Sue Storts,
I often wonder what a spouse would be like growing old in a funk, needing a push to keep living. You did that for me – such love!Seventh Solstise

to: dohamonde,
Your poem, like one of my own (The Maypole) gives me memories of the pure, uncondemned freedom of joy and fun! The imagery kept me in the air. Good job!

Myia Sullivan,
Your poem equivocates the sensation of hot buttered toast dipped in the well-stirred cup of hot chocolate during a thunderstorm, torrential deluge following and you are too strong to care about the rain. Thank you.Seventh Solstise

ManDrama,
When I read your poem, I appreciated your taking a jump into the “sea.” Yet, I am also swimming in that sea of a depth so deep, that defining the issues and resolution are not light work. But, I am grateful that the mantle of leadership worldwide will be given to the new generation, whose hearts “are” beating to the rhythm of change…[Read more] -

EFellows,
I like the cadence and march of your poem. Like life, we don’t always know the way or where we’re going. The Muse, our guide, takes the gift already inside of us, and sheds enough light so we can see it. Ahhhh magical!

Thank you Roy Mark Azanza Corrales,
I’ll name you Rhema, Core, for your words are the enlightened words that God holds us all responsible to establish and maintain universal core values that serve all mankind well. But the movement of our vanity towards self derides freeing freedom with absolute guarantee. Your studies reveal history’s…[Read more]

Sunandashome,
I agree, and how well you wrapped this gift to our envy. All the nuances of metaphor, personification, color and mood were so gracefully placed to produce intricate verse shaped into a simplistic glide through your mind. It reminded me of how words fall from the mouth of a child leaving all who were listening, stunned at such…[Read more] -

I love your last name, Diane. Carmony rhymes with
harmony, which you have a great sense of what this country’s leadership is remiss in restoring. The “gentle souls” willing to recognize that we all lose our breaths and die at the thought that this could have been us! Thank you for “Standing Up” – I hear you breathing!

Thank God for the live writing pad that the Poetry Marathon provides, livestreaming like surfing on the massive sea, never having time to worry if you’ll ever reach the shore. It was soooo effervescent!
