I love the entire concept and construction of this poem! I must say that my favorite lines are “as you Marie Kondo this blue sweep of lake: / keeping it, keeping the joy that it sparks.” Every image is clear and beautiful and perfectly detailed!

I really love how you interpreted the prompt, and how it tied into that last line. One of my favorite poems I’ve seen about quarantine!

I don’t know how to word it, but you’ve evoked such a strong and clear emotion in me. Truly the mark of a well-written poem!

I love how you’ve taken a familiar piece and made it your own! The rhythm works so well, and I think you have the perfect mix of Poe’s inspiration and your own creativity and narrative!

Your translation is so good, I feel like it should be a song. The sadness of it is really well expressed.

What a fantastic poem! So much depth and emotion from the image, and you’ve kept it’s visual elements and elevated them.

I think you portrayed this topic beautifully. You covered so many facets of progress and expressed them in a new light, and all so succinctly! Very impressive.

I really like this composition! The way you sprinkle small details like the crunch bar into the broader plot really gives a personal feel and investment in the story.

I love this so much. The simplicity of just adding one voice at a time to build something greater…
It’s so wonderful and empowering. -

This is so cool! A great narrative, a strong sense of mystery – and then the reveal! Your rhyming scheme carries the energy of the story forward perfectly too. Love it!

Love the lovely rhyming shape of your poem story and the magic you’ve woven throughout…. The kind of poetic form story that I enjoy.
