Szhayne is a poet, educator, module and curriculum writer, researcher, lecturer, Campus Journalism/Filipino trainer, facilitator, blogger and photographer. Won Gawad Patrocinio V. Villafuerte as Outstanding Teacher of Filipino (Gawad PVV) 2015, Gawad Teodora Alonzo Realonda Rizal Gabay Mag-aaral Awardee in Quezon 2014, Inspirational Poet Awardee during the PENTASI B WORLD FRIENDSHIP CELEBRATION AND HISTORICAL FORUM held at National Museum of the Philippines on November 15, 2013. She published nine books as Author of Worktext and Books in Filipino in Junior and Senior High School. She’s the Logistics Coordinator for Festival Mundial Poesia 2015. Her poems In Silence, Ice Fortress and I Am Malala Yusefsai were published in an International anthology Women of the World edited by Brian Wrixon published by Brian Wrixon books, Ontario, Canada 2015. A Contributor in Songsoptokk Online Blog Poetry (Nocturnal Elusive Dream, Life is a Dance and Ice Fortress) , Pocket Poetry (Blood Moon Phenomenon and Writing is like..), Aquillrelle Poetry Anthology 2015 and Who Am I Poetry Anthology 2015.

Greetings fellow poets! I am 34 going to 25 and my hobbies are singing, writing music; poetry and short film scripts. I love gaming, larping and intellectual stimulation and hold the Geek flag high. I will be writing from sunny South Africa, although with the winter we are experiencing the sun made retire for good soon.
