Announcing the Finishers of the 2020 Poetry Half-Marathon

The following poets set a goal of writing twelve poems in twelve hours and they succeeded! After a successful day (or night) of creating poetry, everyone on this list deserves a round of applause. Congratulations!

  1. It was a challenge! More than I thought it would be! Thanks for the opportunity and I hope I produced at least one poem worth reading!! Any other Aussies out there, I’d be interested in you comments on my poem My Country- Australia

  2. 2nd year running and I finished both times. Funny enough the first time seemed easier than this time. I got tired and struggled with the last few. No matter. I got ’em done and that’s 12 more added to my arsenal. Congrats everyone! Well done!

  3. Thank God for the live writing pad that the Poetry Marathon provides, livestreaming like surfing on the massive sea, never having time to worry if you’ll ever reach the shore. It was soooo effervescent!
