I refuse a prompting<\/p>\n

then I fight with the thing<\/p>\n

and then I\u2019m still, stopping<\/p>\n

I listen to the ring<\/p>\n

in my ears, a bird sings<\/p>\n

just halting, and hearing<\/p>\n

all the rhyming it brings<\/p>\n

and then a brief tussling<\/p>\n

my critic is fussing<\/p>\n

the muse is now losing<\/p>\n

yet I see a cool posting<\/p>\n

of others\u2019 boasting<\/p>\n

turning dead words into hatchlings<\/p>\n

a wall, I\u2019m now climbing<\/p>\n

my ears are a buzzing<\/p>\n

be still, listen, and learning<\/p>\n

poem\u2019s end is now nearing<\/p>\n

and what you were fearing<\/p>\n

is now happily ending.<\/p>\n
