\nMy memories of the Gulf Stream, deep seas and krill,
\nOf leaping the rapids, to return to spawn
\nIn the highland pool where my race goes on. <\/p>\n
I’ll just move on, my colours, my breath,
\nWill fade to the rigid grey ghost of death.
\nBut, just be still and listen, and you may hear
\nThe song of the salmon, distant and clear, <\/p>\n
A sussuration of fins, new eggs hatching
