I am<\/p>\n
Or at least I try to be<\/p>\n
Magical, not ethereal, but rooted deep in time;<\/p>\n
Turns out some of those routes are buried deep<\/p>\n
While others are blocked permanently.<\/p>\n
I have<\/p>\n
A deep love of many things;<\/p>\n
Cats and writing and wastes of time<\/p>\n
And games and gizmos and water color –<\/p>\n
Though I lack skill in most of them –<\/p>\n
Love deeper still for thrills and creation which hones a skill.<\/p>\n
I sculpt<\/p>\n
And shape<\/p>\n
And crush<\/p>\n
And reshape<\/p>\n
More often than I’d admit<\/p>\n
My own perception, and your exception<\/p>\n
Within my mind before they ever reach paper.<\/p>\n
And perhaps my stories would be better worded if unhinged from fear.<\/p>\n
But the fear is juicy and<\/p>\n
Well I love juice<\/p>\n
And take solace in twilight<\/p>\n
Alone on a crowded shore.<\/p>\n
