There’s a large freckle under my left eye<\/p>\n
that I would wipe at<\/p>\n
for hours<\/p>\n
trying to clean the “dirt” off my face<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
My right front tooth has a chip in it<\/p>\n
from when I tried to use a butter<\/p>\n
knife<\/p>\n
as a toothpick<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I had tattoos splotched on my arms<\/p>\n
they were almost all impulse<\/p>\n
decisions<\/p>\n
that I now question<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
My hairline is the same as my grandmother and her mother<\/p>\n
an isosceles triangle patch nustled on the left side of<\/p>\n
my scalp<\/p>\n
that has never grown hair<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I start each day cursing myself for not waking up earlier<\/p>\n
and end the night with deja vu<\/p>\n
a strict skincare regime<\/p>\n
and writing five pages in my journal<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
There is always so much I want to do during the day<\/p>\n
that I never get around to it<\/p>\n
and even though I check off some of my “to do’s”<\/p>\n
