My mind fragments into a million pieces<\/span><\/p>\n

A million interests and versions of myself<\/span><\/p>\n

And I am left trying to catch them like butterflies in a net<\/span><\/p>\n

Trying to cobble together any that I manage to catch\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And lately, I\u2019ve been collapsing in on myself<\/span><\/p>\n

Like that abandoned house on Donahue<\/span><\/p>\n

Slowly being returned to nothingness.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You wanted to love me but there was never\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Enough time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Isn\u2019t it funny how we never know<\/span><\/p>\n

What time will be the last time?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Or the only time, even.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I really wish that I could be creative\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Without needing to be separated\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Into tiny pieces first.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Writing is the glue that holds me together\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And helps me fall back in…\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

well, like with the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Like, not love,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Because all I know of love is pain\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And the world is too beautiful to be\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
