In these slight hours<\/span><\/p>\n

when the sky beings stir<\/span><\/p>\n

and streak the clouds\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

with wakeful orange\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

light peeps in<\/span><\/p>\n

through slanted blinds<\/span><\/p>\n

and curtain parts<\/span><\/p>\n

like a child<\/span><\/p>\n

excited for the day<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As the world lights up<\/span><\/p>\n

I am cool and asleep<\/span><\/p>\n

in a canopy cave<\/span><\/p>\n

mossed over in teal tulle<\/span><\/p>\n

while I rest<\/span><\/p>\n

the little pekingese\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

rolls on the greyed carpet<\/span><\/p>\n

the border collie trots\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

lovingly behind her human<\/span><\/p>\n

with one watchful eye out<\/span><\/p>\n

for fallen morsels of toast<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I wake in the late morning<\/span><\/p>\n

meeting someone in the kitchen<\/span><\/p>\n

to entertain the shared daily curiosities:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhatcha up to today?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHow were your dreams?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The walls are draped<\/span><\/p>\n

with pothos, floral arrangements\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and affirmations<\/span><\/p>\n

because we need them<\/span><\/p>\n

like this house\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

to hold well big hearts<\/span><\/p>\n

buzzing with intentions<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

connection<\/span><\/p>\n

creativity\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

freedom<\/span><\/p>\n

healing<\/span><\/p>\n

growth<\/span><\/p>\n

magic<\/span><\/p>\n

play<\/span><\/p>\n

love<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Outside of<\/span><\/p>\n

Inside of\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
