For though I have not the courage to

I could write for you all my secret tales –
\nsome real, some imagined; all delicious.
\nOr scribble my wildest wishes on a note-scrap you
\ndropped when you left me behind for your day.<\/p>\n
My typewriter and I would be in cahoots –
\nme hiding behind with my whispered words,
\nit standing bravely forward with its mechanical strength;
\neach covering the tracks of the other.<\/p>\n
We could travel the world this way;
\nfilling in each other\u2019s weak spots \u2013
\nand eventually, if I am lucky,
