pent up tears and reveal self doubt<\/div>\n
letting them tap with intent<\/div>\n
not guiding what they let leak out<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

to an empty room<\/div>\n
meant to be filled with laughter<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

News feed scrolling through land mine filled<\/div>\n
posts of ideal<\/div>\n
yet even with permission<\/div>\n
they hold back…<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I do not wish for secret camping trips<\/div>\n
or fears of liberties lost<\/div>\n
I do not embrace the current temporal change<\/div>\n
this heat separating us<\/div>\n
after such an intentioned period of hushed conversation<\/div>\n
dread filled decisions laced with heavy defeat<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The radio now humming of laughter felt…<\/div>\n
disconnected from the emotions of my moving finger tips,<\/div>\n
