i wanted to sing champagne<\/p>\n
when my voice is river water<\/p>\n
i thought myself operatic<\/p>\n
when plainsong, the elegant ease<\/p>\n
of a Beatles song, more suited me<\/p>\n
am I trying so hard to prove I\u2019m strong and athletic, so adept at operatic scales<\/p>\n
when Mersey mermaid scales are more my<\/p>\n
