that rambunctious little elf<\/p>\n
thought it should flounce around<\/p>\n
and act like summer.<\/p>\n
Boiling hot<\/p>\n
Wind whipping breezes that<\/p>\n
Knock you sideways<\/p>\n
people with blistering faces<\/p>\n
and stirred up mad.<\/p>\n
I was glad<\/p>\n
when summer arrived<\/p>\n
calm and stately<\/p>\n
with a little rain and cooler mornings<\/p>\n
Pretending to be nice<\/p>\n
and then<\/p>\n
then<\/p>\n
summer thought it should<\/p>\n
make up for lost time<\/p>\n
and to show Spring how being Summer<\/p>\n
was done<\/p>\n
sidewalks melted<\/p>\n
