\nAs the night swallows my bleary eye
\nYet I’ll keep my pen and keep it bright

\nThe wind chants rhapsody for me to sleep
\nMy glowing pen is losing its light
\nBut I have promises to keep.<\/p>\n
\nHis house is in the heaven though
\nHe will not see me stopping here
\nTo watch my pen lose its glow.<\/p>\n
\nWith a chant of wind that is hard to beat
\nI will hold my pen, I will not sleep
\nI will write the promises I keep.<\/p>\n
