It swooped<br \/>\nand soared taking<br \/>\na perch on a higher<br \/>\nbranch of a tree at<br \/>\nthe water\u2019s edge.<\/p>\n<p>Me and my loved one<br \/>\nlooking, craning. We<br \/>\nhad followed its flight<br \/>\npath. Now to find it.<br \/>\n\u201cThat\u2019s a branch,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>my loved one, laughed.<br \/>\n\u201cThat\u2019s not it either, Dad.\u201d<br \/>\n(Oh to hear that name<br \/>\ncalled.) Then we saw it,<br \/>\nand upon seeing it we<\/p>\n<p>could not look back.<br \/>\nWe won\u2019t look back.<br \/>\nIf the eagle is freedom<br \/>\nand freedom is sweet,<br \/>\nsweet freedom is ours.<\/p>\n<p>A little bird told me.<br \/>\nI know it when I see it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You know when you look for something the thing you see is almost certainly the thing that it is not.
