squatting on the Welcome Mat<\/p>\n
of the world<\/p>\n
i mimic my bullfrog totem animal and croak and burp and fart<\/p>\n
but no attempt<\/p>\n
can match his Majesty<\/p>\n
my bullfrog jumps on my head and creates<\/p>\n
a halo of mud and slime above and around<\/p>\n
my eyebrows<\/p>\n
a taste of what\u2019s to come<\/p>\n
he starts the chorus<\/p>\n
and I pretend to be a coqui<\/p>\n
the Caribbean crooner<\/p>\n
Exiled to a Hawaiian luau<\/p>\n
i am impatient<\/p>\n
wanting so much to be born<\/p>\n
I want to jump onto that sea of stars<\/p>\n
And fall into the Big Dipper\u2019s<\/p>\n
domain<\/p>\n
my body is heavy my head even heavier<\/p>\n
Bullfrog says my parents have seen my<\/p>\n
Huge Head<\/p>\n
my Outlier brain<\/p>\n
and<\/p>\n
Return me to God<\/p>\n
i don\u2019t know it yet<\/p>\n
but<\/p>\n
No More of Me<\/p>\n
will be born<\/p>\n
Ever<\/p>\n
