 <\/p>\n

Dance, like life, is an exercise in tension<\/span><\/p>\n

So much can be expressed with so little<\/span><\/p>\n

Knowing when to reach out<\/span><\/p>\n

Knowing when to not<\/span><\/p>\n

Knowing when to let go<\/span><\/p>\n

Knowing when to hold on <\/span><\/p>\n

One gets rehearsals<\/span><\/p>\n

One does not, more\u2019s the pity<\/span><\/p>\n

Both have beauty <\/span><\/p>\n

Both have risk<\/span><\/p>\n

Both have the capacity to encompass the best<\/span><\/p>\n

Of art, of motion, of love, of wonder, of passion of joy<\/span><\/p>\n

Of pain, of sorrow, of loss, of lack <\/span><\/p>\n

In all of this tension, this possibility<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2026 is life, is timing, is trust\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

Put your best foot forward, hold out your hand and dance onward <\/span><\/p>\n

For you cannot back into the future<\/span><\/p>\n
