\nWe’ll have flying cars
\nWhile we live on Mars
\nExplore the stars
\nIf Elon gets his act together.<\/p>\n

\nWe’ll have equal rights
\nWon’t that be a sight?
\nGive the bigots such a fright!
\nOr am I being optimistic?<\/p>\n
In one hundred years
\nWe’ll be free of getting sick
\nMedical science, that’s the trick
\nLets hope scientists get there quick
\nCos I’m not going back to lockdown!<\/p>\n
In one hundred years
\nFrom bunkers we’ll poke out our heads
\nAs we laugh at all the fools who said
\nThat there was no need to fear the thing we dread
\nThat fallout shelters were for idiots<\/p>\n
In one hundred years
\nI’ll not be here
\nNot that I’m much of a seer
\nIs there really all that much to fear
\nI can’t be the first to think it<\/p>\n
In one hundred years
\nWill they remember me?
\nWill there even be a memory?
\nMore to the point will there even be
\nAny humans left to do it?<\/p>\n

\nWill we still fear each other
\nAnd condemn all those we should name brother
\nOr are we doomed to kill one another?
\nBut I live in hope.<\/p>\n
Because in the last hundred years
\nAnd further back
\nThe human race has an unbeaten track
\nOf taking a punch and getting right back.
