<\/p>\n
Michael Collins took on a task<\/p>\n
that reminds me too much<\/p>\n
of Sisyphus, the Greek mythological king<\/p>\n
punished for continued misleading.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Sisyphus was forced to push a large boulder Uphill<\/p>\n
a difficult task for sure!<\/p>\n
Michael Collins, too, is expected to push<\/p>\n
the long suffering people to a common solution.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
But Long-suffering people expect to be happier<\/p>\n
than the people with power, who are thinking they have to give up<\/p>\n
some of their hard-earned gains.<\/p>\n
Neither side thinks the other side is giving enough.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Michael Collins fought with his friends<\/p>\n
on the battlefields of independence.<\/p>\n
But when he was elected to represent<\/p>\n
he stopped living amongst the friends.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Political agreements were harder to find.<\/p>\n
Suspicions were not measurable,<\/p>\n
except in the shocking street killings.<\/p>\n
Peace was harder to win<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
