\nimprisoned by their parents
\nin basement cells and
\ntortured in their house of horrors.
\nAllowed to eat once a day,
\nshower once a year
\nkept chained to their beds.
\nThe foster family where they were sent
\nafter their escape
\nwas arrested and charged with abuse.

Children are sleeping in case worker\u2019s offices
\nbecause there is nowhere for them to go.
\nChildren are living in the streets,
\nneglected, hungry and prey.
