Looking out of my bedroom window<\/p>\n
As I stare at the space above<\/p>\n
The gold ball glazing hot<\/p>\n
A hardback just beside me<\/p>\n
He has been my companion for long<\/p>\n
A broken wine glass and it’s spill<\/p>\n
I can’t turn my head to face them<\/p>\n
But I can see the sun glistening up the oak<\/p>\n
Jealous for it being sun kissed<\/p>\n
I want to poke the oak with the knitting needles<\/p>\n
The pavements are awake<\/p>\n
You wake me up from a hazy conscious<\/p>\n
I want to feel the caressing lights<\/p>\n
Which I will adore and hate<\/p>\n
I am your sunflower<\/p>\n
Yearning that you’ll pierce my heart silently<\/p>\n
