Flow of morphia abates, and the unbound does stand,
\nFirst time for a stranger, born callously to a new land.
\nBefore the mirror I stretch, and absorb my new form,
\nA creature so profound that the vultures do swarm.<\/p>\n
Sabbatical taken, but a new course this does warrant,
\nReluctantly I scribe tales of immediate resignation,
\nFurther surrendering your bleak will abhorrent,
\nA smug smirk and you post without hesitation.<\/p>\n
Broken, monstrous psyche, driven to decisions na\u00efve,
\nBroken, monstrous body, reflecting my spirit\u2019s frayed weave.<\/p>\n
Flow of morphia abates, and I take my clumsy stride,
\nEach stumble, forfeiture. Each fall, you defeat me,
\nMy only Shangri-La: In your shadow I hide.
\nPerseverance, a necessity. <\/p>\n
Broken, monstrous psyche, driven to the next liquidation,
\nBroken, monstrous body, reflecting new skill of extermination.<\/p>\n
His possession,
\nHis creature,
\nHis plaything,
