I have spent days upon days
\nstuck in this hellish apartment
\nof which I know every inch
\nonly because I studied things
\nbecause I couldn’t move<\/p>\n
I didn’t want to do anything
\nI didn’t want to be anywhere
\nI just couldn’t-and I don’t know
\nhow it even started this time<\/p>\n
There is a light at the end today
\nthough-
\nfor the first time in a month
\nI can get up and clean
\nbut please understand<\/p>\n
I’m not generally a slob
\nI usually keep everything nice
\nand tidy
\neverything in its place simply because
\nthat’s less chaotic<\/p>\n
I’ve made my list and divided it into
\nreasonably small sections
\nby room and then by task
\nI’d better fuel up-
\nit’s going to be a long day and night<\/p>\n
breakfast first
\nDishes after
\nthat task is done
\nwhat next?
\nOh yes- The list<\/p>\n
The living room
\nneeds the trash picked up
\nlaundry put into the hamper
\nwhat did that dish come from?!<\/p>\n
Papers of past writing
\nthose need to be gone through
\non the couch-
\nYep; I got distracted once more<\/p>\n
back on task
\nthe bathroom will be last
\nthe grossest job in cleaning
\non to the bedroom<\/p>\n
Trash is gone-
\nbed is made
\nFloor has been vaccumed
\ndusting? For another day
\nA nap perhaps?<\/p>\n
two hours later
\nstill laying on my bed
\nI’ll have to make it again
\nWhy am I distracted yet again?<\/p>\n
My tummy has a rumble going
\non inside-I don’t think it’s very happy
\nwith me right now.
\nMaybe because It’s been about 8
\nhours since I last ate something<\/p>\n
Fueled once more
\nand I can see an end in sight
\nI just have a few more things to do
