My daily prayer<\/p>\n
a prayer for love<\/p>\n
a prayer for joy<\/p>\n
a prayer for peace<\/p>\n
a prayer for happiness<\/p>\n
a prayer for all mankind<\/p>\n
a bountiful blessing that will never end.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I pray for my family<\/p>\n
I pray for my children<\/p>\n
I pray for the children of others<\/p>\n
I pray for my neighbors<\/p>\n
I pray for my friends<\/p>\n
I pray for those that I may never know.<\/p>\n
Yet I know they all need my prayers.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I pray for the sick<\/p>\n
I pray for the wounded in spirit<\/p>\n
I pray for the heart that has been broken<\/p>\n
I pray for those without hope<\/p>\n
I pray for those who are shattered by grief<\/p>\n
unable to face the disappointments that life can bring.<\/p>\n
Somehow I know these prayers will bring comfort and peace.<\/p>\n
I pray for our government<\/p>\n
I pray for war to end<\/p>\n
I pray for understanding to increase<\/p>\n
I pray for misunderstanding to decrease<\/p>\n
I pray for tolerance<\/p>\n
a prayer that we will not destroy ourselves<\/p>\n
with our own greed, selfishness and narrowness of mind<\/p>\n
Yet I know all these things can only come from heaven above.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
how marvelous it would be<\/p>\n
if we all prayed in real unity.<\/p>\n
caring for the needs of our brother<\/p>\n
striking the chord of true love for one another.<\/p>\n
No more war and no more pain<\/p>\n
everybody on the same frequency<\/p>\n
the frequency that will lead to world love and harmony.<\/p>\n
