The whiskey?<br \/>\nThe faux-wood floor?  <\/p>\n<p>Gone are the days of<br \/>\nshot-and-a-beer<br \/>\nwatch the game regulars<br \/>\nreplaced now with<br \/>\nhoppers<br \/>\nyoung couples, groups<br \/>\nseeking the<br \/>\nlatest craft brew<br \/>\nboutique booze<br \/>\nwhatever food truck<br \/>\nis there tonight<\/p>\n<p>What once were<br \/>\nsmoke-filled joints<br \/>\nnow home to<br \/>\nhip cribbage players<br \/>\nboard game aficionados<br \/>\nknitters who deftly knit one,<br \/>\npurl two without<br \/>\nknocking over<br \/>\ntheir wine glass<\/p>\n<p>while they talk to the<br \/>\nnew arrival<br \/>\npulling laptop from hand<br \/>\nembroidered,<br \/>\nfair-trade satchel <\/p>\n<p>and I sit there amidst it all<br \/>\nand wonder<br \/>\nwhere will the nostalgia<br \/>\nfor all of this<br \/>\neventually go to look back? <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u2013 Mark L.
