With a hardback I sit in my lawn<\/p>\n

With every story, I’m newly born<\/p>\n

A sunflower is tickling my feet<\/p>\n

My knitting left for a yellowed sheet<\/p>\n

My heart melts gooyey like chedder cheese<\/p>\n

Every book makes me plead, “One more please!”<\/p>\n

When disturbed or sad, I need some space<\/p>\n

My poetry book’s a saving grace<\/p>\n

The sweet and bitter of a wine glass<\/p>\n
