Hmmmm\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>Feels too revelatory to print in public.<\/p>\n<p>Memories \u00a0cascading through my head<\/p>\n<p>are arguing with each other.<\/p>\n<p>Some are happy\u2026some sad..some excited\u2026some angry,,<\/p>\n<p>some choking back tears,<\/p>\n<p>some taking a nap.<\/p>\n<p>Long ago boyfriends, childhood besties,<\/p>\n<p>favorite teachers, heartbreakers.<\/p>\n<p>family members..loyal connections, betrayers.<\/p>\n<p>They all seem to be waving through a translucent haze.<\/p>\n<p>And \u00a0they look exactly as they did when last seen.<\/p>\n<p>Of course that\u2019s impossible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d love to have a real conversation with them.That\u2019s why this prompt is so intriguing.<\/p>\n<p>I can hear long locked doors straining to open in the darkness.<\/p>\n<p>For now I will keep the letter in my heart and visit another time.<\/p>\n<p>My letter to me from me is\u2026.You\u2019re getting better at this living thing.<\/p>\n<p>Keep showing up\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Non-letter \u00a0to myself To write a letter to myself from any of the folks coming to mind in this moment.
