\naway, went back home, went to
\nwhere you weren\u2019t and I could be
\naway from you and away from us
\naway from the places, memories
\naway from the pain I inflicted on
\nmyself for walking away from you,
\nus, then, the future, the past that
\nI couldn\u2019t deal with that had you
\nnot understanding my story and
\nyes, we were young and we were\u2026
\nyes, we were. <\/p>\n
You needed time that
\nI couldn\u2019t give because I wanted what
\nI couldn\u2019t find from anyone but you
\nI couldn\u2019t bear you telling me goodbye
\nI couldn\u2019t have that guilt so I opted for
\nGoodbye<\/p>\n

\nI opened this email account to
\nwrite this email and once I send it
\nI will delete
\nthis account and never look back like
\nI did back then only this time I know
\nI did the best I could and
\nyou did the best you could and
\nwe were just kids but oh man
\nwhat would we have done…<\/p>\n
…if I hadn\u2019t not said goodbye and
\nif you hadn\u2019t not heard it\u2026
\nAnd I know closure doesn\u2019t mean
\nanything that people think it means
\nbut I just wanted you to know.<\/p>\n
