You stare at your reflection in the mirror as you strip out of the day\u2019s clothing<\/p>\n

Then you wear confidence<\/p>\n

Your smile goes wide as you say to yourself<\/p>\n

When you\u2019re full as a drum of water<\/p>\n

And your body bounces like a panda<\/p>\n

Your tummy sits sticking out and you are decorated with rolls of fat in every place<\/p>\n

-all the ways society makes you feel out of place<\/p>\n

you rub your bulge and caress the excess skin<\/p>\n

you say to myself<\/p>\n

\u201cGirl, you are thick in the right places\u201d<\/p>\n

When work wears you down<\/p>\n

when the schedule squeezes the life out of you-<\/p>\n

so much that you cannot eat<\/p>\n

Or when your body loses its rolls of goodness<\/p>\n

and the bones stick out calling attention to themselves<\/p>\n

you admire how you can give any model a run for their money<\/p>\n

you call yourself what you are-<\/p>\n

\u201cA babe!\u201d<\/p>\n

This dress always fits<\/p>\n

It is the air the room needs<\/p>\n

it is comfy,\u00a0 it is free<\/p>\n

a replica of home<\/p>\n
