Now . . . we slowly<\/p>\n<p>remember the sweet pleasure<\/p>\n<p>of social interactions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I packed our cooler with veggie burgers<\/p>\n<p>and fixings.<\/p>\n<p>Tray grilled fish she brought home from Alaska,<\/p>\n<p>and some kind of meat.<\/p>\n<p>Chris brought a potato salad and vegan<\/p>\n<p>carrot muffins.<\/p>\n<p>Joanne and Phil made a big green salad, and<\/p>\n<p>someone brought strawberries picked<\/p>\n<p>that morning.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Remember potlucks? Our house full of<\/p>\n<p>friends, everyone eyeing the table full of<\/p>\n<p>delicious food.<\/p>\n<p>Remember sharing food?<\/p>\n<p>Meeting at restaurants, then<\/p>\n<p>going to a movie?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thus far, we\u2019re sticking with the outdoor<\/p>\n<p>events. Luckily \u2013 Summer has finally<\/p>\n<p>arrived.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When troubled times continue<\/p>\n<p>tearing us apart in our country \u2013<\/p>\n<p>banding together with old friends<\/p>\n<p>seems the best antidote!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BBQ &nbsp; On the way home from the picnic we both mentioned how long it had been!
