I remember this<br \/>\none time, when Jimmy Hawkins<br \/>\npunched a kid in the head<br \/>\nand knocked out two teeth.<br \/>\nYeah, the kid got brain damage,<br \/>\nbut still, it was a hell of a fight.<\/p>\n<p>If we broke the rules at school,<br \/>\nwe got hit. We learned pretty quick<br \/>\nnot to get caught &#8211; we made sure<br \/>\nwe tattled on the kid with<br \/>\nbrain damage, because it was<br \/>\nfunny to listen to him cry<br \/>\nafter getting paddled for<br \/>\nsomething he didn&#8217;t remember<br \/>\ndoing.<\/p>\n<p>So, yeah, the good old days.<\/p>\n<p>They sure were good.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I remember the good old days It was so much better than you kids today get &#8211; we could eat all the lead paint chips we wanted, breathe in particulate-laden air, throw our garbage anywhere we wanted.
