{"id":113453,"date":"2022-06-25T17:54:42","date_gmt":"2022-06-25T21:54:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/?p=113453"},"modified":"2022-06-25T17:57:36","modified_gmt":"2022-06-25T21:57:36","slug":"12-bird-poems-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2022\/06\/12-bird-poems-2\/","title":{"rendered":"12 Bird Poems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>IX.<\/p>\n<p>The Bird Tree is in a bubble<\/p>\n<p>I inhabit during fleeting<\/p>\n<p>Vermont summers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Perennials surround the tree<\/p>\n<p>and flank the observation porch<\/p>\n<p>a few feet away.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Squirrels, Chipmunks, and<\/p>\n<p>an occasional Black Bear<\/p>\n<p>are also attracted by the\u00a0feeders.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Porch visitors comment on the activity<\/p>\n<p>around my porch, and might be scolded,<\/p>\n<p>as they sit, by a Blue Jay looking for peanuts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is healing energy which, perhaps,<\/p>\n<p>I could bottle and distribute &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>an elixir in these dismal times.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IX.
