{"id":113470,"date":"2022-06-25T17:12:31","date_gmt":"2022-06-25T21:12:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/?p=113470"},"modified":"2022-06-25T17:12:31","modified_gmt":"2022-06-25T21:12:31","slug":"hour-9-spam-and-mac-text-prompt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2022\/06\/hour-9-spam-and-mac-text-prompt\/","title":{"rendered":"Hour 9 &#8211; Spam and Mac &#8211; Text prompt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Spam and Mac<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t eat much from childhood<br \/>\nNot that I don\u2019t like it &#8211; The food that is<br \/>\nI just can usually eat better.<br \/>\nThere is however a staple<br \/>\nFrom my 16th year<br \/>\nWhich reminds me to stay grateful<br \/>\nFor the job that I hold dear.<br \/>\nSpam, an easy snack, and mac<br \/>\nMakes a meal, like a dinner hack<br \/>\nThat keeps me feeling full<br \/>\nWhile some folks shirk it and<br \/>\nSome just don\u2019t think it\u2019s good<br \/>\nSpam is often my comfort food<br \/>\nSpam and eggs is breakfast<br \/>\nSpam and rice for lunch<br \/>\nIf I\u2019m feeling really sad<br \/>\nSpam, just spam, a bunch<br \/>\nA snack for the ages,<br \/>\nFry it up in slices<br \/>\nChop it into pieces<br \/>\nSeason it with seaweed<br \/>\nOr just nuke it for a minute<br \/>\nAnd eat that salt-mass whole<br \/>\nFry it with the microwave<br \/>\nSo you can fill that hole<br \/>\nSpam is just a wonderful food<br \/>\nThat joined me late in my childhood<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spam and Mac I don\u2019t eat much from childhood Not that I don\u2019t like it &#8211; The food that is I just can usually eat better.
