Fried dumplings and saltedcod<\/p>\n
Every child back then, lived for this day<\/p>\n
No rice, no vegetables<\/p>\n
Momma made them from scratch<\/p>\n
She would roll the dough, butter, salt and stuff<\/p>\n
In the hot oil they’d go<\/p>\n
Coming out crispy<\/p>\n
Hot, soft inside<\/p>\n
As teeth connect they sink into the soft buttery<\/p>\n
Inside, as the oohs and aaahs<\/p>\n
Signal, enjoyment of this deliciousness<\/p>\n
Made some today in a Marathon frame of mind<\/p>\n
Transported back to those days<\/p>\n
