XI.<\/p>\n

A tiny hummingbird<\/p>\n

perches on the thinnest limb<\/p>\n

of a cedar outside my window.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It’s approaching dusk – a heavy<\/p>\n

feeding time and everyone shows up<\/p>\n

and I’m listening for Ravens.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mornings open here with mist rising<\/p>\n

from the meadow, the babble of birdsong.<\/p>\n

And Ravens launching their busy day.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Coffee on the porch and Raven chatter<\/p>\n

from the pine stand across the meadow –<\/p>\n

up on the rise across the road.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And we close the day in much\u00a0the same way,<\/p>\n

but with wine!<\/p>\n
