{"id":114510,"date":"2022-06-25T18:24:20","date_gmt":"2022-06-25T22:24:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/?p=114510"},"modified":"2022-06-26T10:47:09","modified_gmt":"2022-06-26T14:47:09","slug":"creative-challenge-hour-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2022\/06\/creative-challenge-hour-10\/","title":{"rendered":"Creative Challenge &#8211; Hour 10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If I threw everything in my studio into a pot,<\/p>\n<p>what would I get?<\/p>\n<p>Paints, papers, inks, glues, rocks, feathers, books and brushes<\/p>\n<p>computer, pens, pencils, erasers, easel, desk and cabinets<\/p>\n<p>canvases, boards, tiles, buckets, and more<\/p>\n<p>Would I create a masterpiece like our universe?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Would I produce life<\/p>\n<p>like the unknown force that tossed everything in existence together<\/p>\n<p>to trigger the Big Bang?<\/p>\n<p>No,<\/p>\n<p>that won&#8217;t happen<\/p>\n<p>but it could be a way to find a new direction for my work.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I need to mix it up.<\/p>\n<p>Put disparate items together.<\/p>\n<p>Nietzsche said, out of chaos, comes order.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s my plan \u2013 create a mess and find a way out of it.<\/p>\n<p>Challenge myself to discover a new creative expression.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, this is it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If I threw everything in my studio into a pot, what would I get?
