Water an orris and so it grows
\nWhile the petals wilt on a forgotten rose
\nLeft alone the cold wind blows
\nHe cries a tear and no one knows<\/p>\n
The mountains sing to the starry sky
\nTonight turns to day in a matter of time
\nSo fades the nights rythm and rhyme
\nToday has no mountain for him to climb<\/p>\n
Looking at the ocean he sees
\nHow calm the commotion could be
\nStill the waves crash up and down
\nAs they thrash against the bow<\/p>\n
His choice to stay ashore has past forever
\nAs so her storm must be weathered
\nHe must choose to dance her tide
\nIf he is to see her peaceful side<\/p>\n
Answering his hopes with never
\nShe claims his vessel forever
\nLeaving him every sense of purpose denied
