And so that is how I landed on the inspiration for this &#8211; poem 11 &#8211; because progress is indeed being made even if it does not feel like it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Poem 11:<\/p>\n<p>The things that matter to you<\/p>\n<p>right here in this moment are<\/p>\n<p>all the things you&#8217;ve never known<\/p>\n<p>how to make space for but have<\/p>\n<p>kind of sort of attempted wanted.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>These are the things that make<\/p>\n<p>you into the person you claim to be<\/p>\n<p>and should be treated as the precious<\/p>\n<p>opportunities they truly are &#8211; regardless<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>of how uncertain you may be or how<\/p>\n<p>tired you are beginning of this moment &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>so worn out that you could let it all simply<\/p>\n<p>slip by without a care in the world if only<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>you were unaware a while longer.<\/p>\n<p>-M.
