NAS Prompt 12\u00a0 Moving<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Moving on my own, determined and excited,<\/p>\n
thrilling new adventure taught me<\/p>\n
all the basic things new brides learn —<\/p>\n
take charge of many household chores.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Moving into a home of our own<\/p>\n
a two story home gave us lots of room<\/p>\n
so we filled it with babies, every year or so<\/p>\n
a home that the children still love.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Moving \u00a0on, as in divorce, I did that once.<\/p>\n
Misery and grief — survived and grew stronger<\/p>\n
Eight years later, wounds had healed, kids had grown<\/p>\n
chose a better match.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Moving through the familial losses —<\/p>\n
Happy losses to marriages; I approved of every one.<\/p>\n
The sad losses were in death; \u00a0\u00a0Mom and Dad and little Mari, too<\/p>\n
Celebrate their lives, and let them go; to whatever Heaven holds.<\/p>\n
