{"id":115420,"date":"2022-06-25T19:56:52","date_gmt":"2022-06-25T23:56:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/?p=115420"},"modified":"2022-06-25T19:56:52","modified_gmt":"2022-06-25T23:56:52","slug":"115420","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2022\/06\/115420\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Strange land it is where the Frownies roam<br \/>\nDead serious, deadpan!<br \/>\nHumongous of girth, not a sliver of mirth<br \/>\nAll guests to their town they scan!<\/p>\n<p>Snicker Notsville, the town is named<br \/>\nThey forbid all merriment<br \/>\nThey stoop and walk with the weight of the world<br \/>\nNot a penny&#8217;s worth of entertainment!<\/p>\n<p>They think they do earth-shaking work<br \/>\nAnd their glory all must sing<br \/>\nBut sad they look, and sadder they feel<br \/>\nwith no intention of ever changing!<\/p>\n<p>Is there any point to this<br \/>\nsans snickers, chortles or guffaws?<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s a heavy crown their heads do bear<br \/>\nFocussing on finding flaws!<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s perhaps the quest they chase<br \/>\nfor perfection is an elusive goal<br \/>\nIt leads to stress and such a mess<br \/>\nAnd takes a heavy toll!<\/p>\n<p>Some time if they spent in Cacchin Nation<br \/>\npractising fun regularly<br \/>\nNot missing even the slightest chance<br \/>\nTo burst forth in utmost glee!<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;d surely find their troubles behind<br \/>\nAnd efficiency increased<br \/>\nThings would run smoothly for sure<br \/>\nIf their hilarity was well-greased!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Strange land it is where the Frownies roam Dead serious, deadpan!
