Once a king, now accursed of four feet<br \/>\nA wet, cold nose, in this wretched heat.<br \/>\nNever did I buy a single soul!<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, mine I sold for providence<br \/>\nAnd England. And now I am hence<br \/>\nA slave to fight for men&#8217;s merriment.<\/p>\n<p>She cursed me, that Margaret, Queen<br \/>\nAnd wife of wretched history.<br \/>\nChained here to fight for death.<\/p>\n<p>And so, I fight. I fight the kings<br \/>\nOf ages past, all\u00a0wicked things.<br \/>\nWe fight, we kings returned.<\/p>\n<p>We fight to tear the faces off<br \/>\nThe others, surrounding us a trough<br \/>\nOf blood, and spit, and flesh.<\/p>\n<p>Our flesh. And at the end, I cry.<br \/>\nI grieve my cursed soul and the lie<br \/>\nThat bore me here again to death.<\/p>\n<p>I am King Richard III! Do they not know?<br \/>\nAcross from me, red eyes aglow,<br \/>\nWas once a Caesar snarling.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, I ripped the throat of Hitler<br \/>\nAs they cheered. His bones now brittler<br \/>\nThan a chicken&#8217;s neck.<\/p>\n<p>I am done now. Weary of my fate,<br \/>\nI whimper to no one. No love, just hate.<br \/>\nDone. Spent.
